Overview
The Strother School of Radical Attention (SoRA), a Brooklyn-based non-profit, is inviting wearable looks inspired by the aesthetics (and counter-aesthetics) of the Attention Economy. Selected artists will be featured in a fashion show and exhibition in September 2026 at the School's Sanctuary Gallery in Brooklyn.
What We Are Looking For
- 4 wearable looks inspired by the aesthetics and counter-aesthetics of the Attention Economy
- Thoughtful responses to the constant demand for eye-catching content in fashion
- How to resist human fracking through fashion; how wearables can salvage and retool toxic elements of the attention economy
- Looks may center on clothes, jewelry, hair, shoes, and other wearable elements
- Must be styled to walk down the runway for the fashion show
- May pair existing/repurposed items or materials and/or consist of articles of your own design

Selected artists will receive an unrestricted cash prize of $500.
