Submit up to 3 two-dimensional original artworks featuring mark making—dots, lines, and textures—showing evidence of the artist's hand and creative process.

This exhibition seeks artists who explore mark making—with surfaces revealing the artist's hand through brushstrokes, texture, and evidence of the creative process. Works will be evaluated on engagement with the theme, technique, overall mastery, creativity, and originality.

Open to Bay Area artists 18 years and above.

Two-dimensional original artworks only: painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor) and drawing (charcoal, ink, pastel, graphite), as well as fine art prints and mixed media on paper or canvas. Textiles, photography, AI-generated art, and reproductions are not accepted. Low-relief works (5 inches deep or less) are acceptable; no suspended or free-standing sculpture.

Ready-to-hang pieces (including frame, if framed) must be 72" high x 60" wide maximum and 8"–10" high x 10" high minimum. Work cannot exceed 50 pounds. D-rings must be positioned high on the back with braided stainless-steel or multi-filament wire; no sawtooth hangers.
