Aviário Studio Printmaking Residency provides technical conditions, time, and space for artists to develop ideas in printmaking. Eligibility

Residency types
Artists choose from: Self-directed Residency, Guided Art Residency, or Assisted Production Residency.
Disciplines and media
Book arts, drawing, graphic design, illustration, installation arts, interdisciplinary arts, mixed media, painting, paper arts, photography, printmaking, sculpture, storytelling, and visual arts. Printmaking techniques include relief, intaglio, screen printing, transfer, and monotype.
Equipment and facilities
- Shared studios and dedicated studio/shop with full-time and part-time technicians
- Cutting table, guillotines (paper and metal), presses (Krause book binding, Polymetaal, Reig)
- Printmaking workspaces with etching press, inking tables, drying racks, silkscreen studio, light tables, exposure unit, washout room
- Additional equipment: darkroom, soldering workspace, woodworking tools, ceramics workspace
- Private bedroom in shared housing facility on campus

- Residency fee (includes accommodation in shared house, studio access Mon.–Fri. 9 a.m.–6 p.m., workshop access, project discussion):
- 2 weeks – 600 €
- 3 weeks – 900 €
- 4 weeks – 1,200 €
- 5 weeks – 1,500 €
- 6 weeks – 1,800 €
- Materials and meals not included. Precise quotation provided after application.
- Studio support (training or assistance): 20€ per hour
