About
Submit 2-3 works in any media exploring states of suspension, transition, hesitation, physical or psychological instability, or displacement for a group exhibition in Paris.
Overview
Following exhibitions exploring the invisible and the embodied, Suspended marks the third chapter of curatorial research examining states of perception and being. This second round reopens with limited additional places available.
Concept
The exhibition explores conditions that are unsettled: bodies that resist full definition, materials hovering between states, images appearing to form or dissolve. Suspension can be physical, psychological, or spatial. We invite works that create a felt experience of suspension rather than illustrate a concept.
What to submit
- Works exploring states of waiting, hesitation, or transition
- Tension between balance and collapse
- Gravity, levitation, or physical suspension
- Emotional or psychological instability
- Bodies in displacement or in-between conditions
