Overview
TAG/The Artists Gallery offers its walls to artists from around the region with its annual unjuried exhibit, Le Salon. Up to 115 eclectic, exuberant and fun works by guest artists will be on view. A reception will be held from 5 to 8 pm on August 1 during the First Saturday event, when visitors can meet the artists and enjoy refreshments.

Eligibility
Open to all artists 18+ years living within 50 miles of Frederick, Maryland and not currently represented by TAG/The Artists Gallery. Eligible artworks include (but not limited to) original paintings, drawings, prints, mixed media, photographs, and sculpture. NO reproductions.
Media & size limits
- 2-D work: no larger than 30" × 30" including frame; must be framed and ready to hang with securely attached wires or cleat system; no sawtooth hangers; must be framed behind glass or plexiglass when appropriate
- 3-D work: must fit on a 15" × 15" pedestal with height no more than 30" and maximum weight of 35 lbs
- No work can be suspended from ceiling or sit on floor
- Wet canvases, wet frames, and entries mounted behind glass without frames will not be accepted
Entry fee
- $30.00 for one work
- $10.00 for each additional work up to 3 works total
- Non-refundable; submit online through CaFÉ only
Submission & acceptance
All entries must be submitted electronically through CaFÉ. Only the first 115 artworks will be accepted to this unjuried exhibit. Register early—work will be accepted until Saturday, July 18, 2026 or when the call is full. Only preregistered work will be accepted. No changes of information will be possible after submission.
Sales & commission
TAG/The Artists Gallery receives 30% commission on all work sold during the exhibition. Work that is not for sale must be listed N.F.S. Prices submitted at time of entry cannot be adjusted later. Le Salon is a cash & carry exhibit. Artists will be notified of sold work. Unsold work must remain until the end of the exhibit.
Delivery & pickup
- Delivery: Friday, July 24, noon–8 pm; Saturday, July 25, noon–8 pm; Sunday, July 26, noon–4 pm
- Pickup of unsold work: Sunday, August 30, noon–4 pm; Monday, August 31, 3–7 pm
- Artist's name and title must be on the front of each work
