Since its founding in 1981, Ucross has been a vital resource for artists of all disciplines from across the United States and the world. The program provides uninterrupted time, studio space, living accommodations, and the experience of the majestic High Plains while serving as steward of a historic 20,000-acre ranch in northern Wyoming.
Who can apply
The residency is open to visual artists, writers, composers, choreographers, interdisciplinary artists, performance artists, and collaborative teams. Applicants must exhibit professional standing in their field; both mature and emerging artists of promise are welcome. Students at any level are not accepted.
