September 2026 CAC All Media Show Call For Entries

Overview

Crossroads Art Center is hosting a juried all-media show with no theme. This is a live and online exhibition. The gallery represents emerging and established mid-Atlantic artists and is open by appointment Mondays and to the public Tuesdays-Saturdays 10am–5pm, Sundays Noon–4pm.

Key Dates

• Call for Entries: August 1–16, 2026
• Artists notified via email on or before: Friday, August 21, 2026
• Drop-off for Live Show: Wednesday, Sept 9–Saturday, Sept 12, 2026 by Noon
• Open House: Friday, September 18, 2026, 5pm–8pm
• Exhibition End: Sunday, November 8, 2026
• Pickup for unsold pieces: Tuesday, November 10, 2026, 10am–5pm

Eligibility

Open to artists nationally. Work must be original, created by the artist. Reproductions and giclee prints are not accepted unless approved by the gallery owner. Works where the art process is the printed process (etching, monoprint, silkscreen, lithograph) or digital printed images created with programs such as Procreate or Photoshop are permitted. Work previously accepted into a juried show at the art center may not be entered again.

Entry Requirements

• Submit up to 3 entries per artist
• Artist statement required (200-word limit, first person)
• For 2D work: 3 images required per piece (full view without frame, full view with frame if applicable, and close detail image)
• For unframed art: 2 images required
• Measurements required in H × W × D format; outside measurements of frame must be included if framed
• All text and information entered in ArtCall will be used as-is for labels, awards, publicity, and online display; changes will not be made after the call ends
• Do not type commas in prices; ArtCall will add them automatically
• Detail images must show an important aspect of the artwork; ensure correct orientation and unobtrusive backgrounds

Fees

• General Public: $15 per submission, limit 3 submissions
• Members: $12 per submission, up to 3 entries, plus 1 free 4th entry
• Technical assistance available: $50 per entry by appointment if help is needed with image uploads or profile setup

Submission & Display

All work must be for sale and remain on display until the end of the exhibition; no early removal is permitted. All 2D work and work to hang on walls must be wired; sawtooth hangers are not accepted. The gallery reserves the right to refuse work. Work will be displayed both live at the gallery and online on the gallery's website.

Commission & Sales

Commission on sales is 30%; artists receive 70% of the sale price.

Important Notes

Artists have been instructed to review payment carefully before submitting to avoid overpaying or paying the wrong rate. Because of repeated overpayments, the gallery will no longer refund overpayments. Ensure correct category selection and allow full payment processing before resubmitting. Artists are advised to log out and log back in to verify all information before final submission.
