Overview
Fibrous is a juried national exhibition showcasing paper and textile artworks from across the country. The exhibition celebrates the unique properties and artistic creations that can be derived from these two fiber mediums. This is an in-person exhibition that will also be featured digitally on d'Art Center's archive site.
Eligibility
Open to all artists nationwide. Artwork must consist of either paper or textile/fiber material and/or components in 80% of its composition. Both natural and synthetic fiber materials qualify. Exhibition is open to all functional, non-functional, 2D, 3D, fine art, and fine art craft in ALL STYLES.
Size & Weight Restrictions
- Work cannot exceed 60 inches in its longest dimension
- Works cannot exceed 50 pounds
- Wall hanging art must have a wire or cleat
- Size and weight restrictions may be waived by contacting the Gallery Director directly prior to submission
Submission Requirements
- Submit 3 to 10 images of your work
- Minimum 3 images required (can be the same image, detail shots, or different works)
- For 3D work, create a tile image or use other slots for detail images
Fees
- $35 entry fee covers 3 entries
- Each additional submission over 3 is an additional $5
- Artists can submit up to 10 works to be juried for the show

- Call Open: Monday, June 1st – Sunday, July 5th, 2026
- Jury Period: Monday, July 6th – Sunday, July 12th, 2026
- Notifications (by email): By 5pm, Monday, July 13th, 2026
- Accepted works arrive by: 5pm Saturday, August 15th, 2026
- Exhibition: Saturday, August 22nd – Saturday, September 19th, 2026
- Opening Reception: Thursday, August 27th, 5:30–7:30pm (with Tiny But Mighty exhibit)
- Pick up begins: Tuesday, September 22nd

Submit images online through the application platform. Hand deliveries are accepted through pre-arrangement only; contact abradley@d-artcenter.org. The d'Art Center is open Tuesday–Saturday, 10am–5pm, and until 7pm on Thursdays.
