Surprise Arts invites West Valley artists to submit qualifications for a unique, nature-focused sidewalk chalk art mural that will be a feature of the second annual Roots of Creation: Arts and Nature Festival. Selected artists will create a chalk mural on the sidewalk during the festival.

Eligibility
Open to Arizona-based artists located in the West Valley (defined as west of I-17).
Requirements
All submissions must be family friendly and relate to the theme of nature. AI is prohibited in work samples or final artworks.
Award
Selected artists will be awarded a $200 stipend plus supplies and materials.
