Artists Accelerator Program Fall 2026

Overview

The SebArts Artist Accelerator Program is designed to empower and support talented artists on their journey to establish themselves as successful and sustainable artists by providing professional development. Generously sponsored by Creative Sonoma and the County of Sonoma.

Program Details

• Duration: 3 months (September 1 - November 30, 2026)
• Cohort size: 6-8 artists
• Meeting schedule: Minimum 4 hours per week, typically Tuesdays 12 noon-2pm and Thursdays 10am-12 noon (subject to change)
• Location: Sebastopol Center for the Arts, Sebastopol, CA

Curriculum

• Module 1: Artistic Development — Access to shared studio/project space, weekly critique sessions, and exhibitions at SebArts and off-site
• Module 2: Branding and Marketing — Headshots, website and social media support, artist statement assistance, social media training, and critique salons
• Module 3: Finances and Bookkeeping — Financial literacy workshops, pricing guidance, and bookkeeping training
• Module 4: Developing Collector Relationships — Collector panel presentations and networking events with galleries and art fairs
• Module 5: Exhibiting — Curatorial guidance, planned off-site exhibition with reception, and support for artist receptions
• Module 6: Developing Community — Artist gatherings, community engagement opportunities, and connections with working artists and arts professionals

Eligibility

• Must live in Sonoma County
• Must be 18+ years of age

• Submit 2-10 images of your work
• Up to 4 audio files (optional)
• Up to 4 video files (optional)
