Overview
Art Solano 2026 celebrates the arts and artists of Solano County of all 2D and 3D visual media and video. Juror: Glen Helfand. Arts Benicia, a non-profit art center, invites Solano County artists to submit entries of any subject for this exhibition.

Eligibility
Open to all artists in Solano County and to artists whose main art studio resides in Solano County (Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Suisun City, Rio Vista, Vacaville, Vallejo, and CDPs Allendale, Hartley, and Green Valley). Works shown previously at Arts Benicia are not eligible.
Media and size requirements
- All 2D and 3D media and video accepted, any subject or abstract
- 2D work: may not exceed 36" in width or 72" in height, including frame
- 3D work: may not exceed 36" × 36" footprint; 35-pound weight limit for hanging work; floor weight must not exceed 300 lbs
- Contact staff regarding installations or works with special size requirements
Submission requirements
- One application per artist; allows submission of up to 6 artworks
- Submit up to 6 images/files with appropriate entry fees
- Images: minimum 1 MB per file, maximum 5 MB per file
- For optimal juror viewing, submit highest quality images
Sales and commission
Arts Benicia has a history of selling artworks at every exhibition. Artists receive 60% of the sale price; Arts Benicia receives 40%. All sales transaction fees are borne by Arts Benicia, which collects and reports sales tax.
Important policies
- Entry fees are not refundable
- Only use the member entry price if you are a current member; otherwise your entry will not be juried
- Exceptions for late delivery of artwork cannot be made
- Artworks are insured while at the gallery; the gallery has security alarm and camera systems
- Artists agree to release Arts Benicia for damages in shipping or delivery
