Overview
Heidi Gallery at JSDD announces The WAE Open – 2026, an annual juried exhibition showcasing the highest quality visual art. The gallery invites artists of all disciplines and backgrounds to share work that reflects excellence, authenticity, and bold imagination. All mediums accepted including installations.

Eligibility
Open to established, emerging, and underrepresented artists of all disciplines and backgrounds.
Categories & Media
- 2D Work: maximum 36' wide × 42' high, not to exceed 30lbs; all wall-hung art must be properly wired for hanging (no saw-tooth hangers); stretched canvas may have finished painted edges or strip framing; gallery format framing preferred
- Sculpture: not to exceed 2 feet in any direction; artists may be asked to supply pedestals
- Floor Installation: maximum 4 ft square, not to exceed 50lbs
- Three views of 3D work allowed; no gicleé reproductions; all work must be dated and produced in the last three years
Submission Requirements
- Online entry only
- Submit 1–3 images (3 pieces maximum)
- JPEG format, minimum 1920 pixels on longest side
- Digital images cropped to show only artwork; if edges irregular, photograph against black background
- Work must be available for duration of exhibition; absolutely no substitutions after selections finalized
- Work not conforming to requirements will be rejected
Accepted Entrant Requirements
With acceptance, the artist agrees to write and/or record an audio description about the accepted entry, no longer than 60 seconds in length, to be made available to gallery and website visitors.
Fees & Awards
No entry fee. 40% commission retained by Heidi Gallery on all sales.
Liability & Usage
- Heidi Gallery does not provide insurance for theft, loss, or damage; artists must provide their own insurance
- The Gallery reserves the right to photograph and use accepted work for documentation, website, publicity, social media, or catalog purposes
