Submit images of up to three works for consideration in the 28th Community Art Exhibition; one piece will be selected for display.
Overview
Applications are open for the 28th Community Art Exhibition at Circular ArtSpace – East Bristol's first permanent art gallery, housed in a converted double-decker bus. We welcome all mediums including paintings, photography, sculptures, installations, illustrations, digital art, ceramics, and videos.

- Artwork delivery: 5 August 2026, 12 pm–3 pm (or post to arrive by 4 August 2026)
- Meet the Artists event: Thursday, 6 August 2026, 6–8 pm
- Exhibition: 6–29 August 2026
- Collection: Sunday, 30 August 2026, 12 pm–3 pm
Eligibility & requirements
- Original artworks only (handmade prints, photography, and video are exceptions)
- No AI-generated work accepted
- 2D works must be framed and corded
- All artists; focus on emerging and under-represented artists
Media & size limits
- Paintings, illustrations, drawings, photography, videos: up to 110W × 110H cm
- Sculptures, installations, ceramics: up to 80W × 80H × 35D cm
- You may submit images of multiple works, but only one will be selected
How to enter
Submission is FREE. Submit a maximum of three images of your work, or a link to your website or social media. You must have a free CuratorSpace account to apply.
Fees & payment
- Application: Free
- Selected artist fee: £35 per artist
- No commission on sales — artists keep 100%
What happens next
Each artist is selected to exhibit one piece only. If selected, you will receive a confirmation email with payment details and consignment instructions. The organiser handles all curation, placement, and installation. If not selected, you may be added to a waiting list and invited to apply for the next exhibition.
