About
Submit up to 3 metal artworks (photographs, title, materials, year made, and retail price) for consideration in a juried exhibition.
Overview
Formed by Fire brings together artists working in traditional metal casting methods and contemporary metal fabrication, emphasizing the transformative role of heat and process. This exhibition is open to work made primarily of metal, whether through casting, fabrication, or hybrid approaches that maintain metal as the dominant material. Submissions may range from functional to sculptural, but all should demonstrate clear engagement with the physical properties of metal and the processes that shape it. Note: This is a hybrid open-call and invitational exhibition, including both artists invited by the curator and artists chosen from the open call.
