Artists and publishers are invited to apply for a table to sell book art and related work at the Liverpool Artists' Book Fair.

Liverpool Book Art invites submissions for tables at the Liverpool Artists' Book Fair at the Bluecoat (Arts Centre), Liverpool's city centre contemporary arts hub. The Fair showcases a diversity of book art including unique hand-made books, limited editions, stories & illustrations, distinctive notebooks, altered books, book sculptures, bindings and more.

  • Submission deadline: Sunday 19th July 2025
  • Notification: 25th July 2025
  • Fair dates: Saturday 10th October and Sunday 11th October 2025

The Bluecoat, School Lane, Liverpool L1 3BX. The Fair will take place in the upstairs performance space. Fair opening hours: Saturday 10.00-17.00; Sunday 11.00-17.00 (Fair opens to public from 11.00, closing at 16.30 on Sunday).

Applications are invited from individual book artists; artist collectives & groups; small press publishers; colleges/universities; and specialist trade suppliers.

  • Artists: £80 for 2 days
  • Colleges/universities: £140 for 2 days
  • Trade/suppliers: £160 for 2 days
  • No submission fee

Around 25 tables of artists' work for sale. Entry to the public is free. The Bluecoat has excellent disabled access, with ramp access on ground floor and lifts to first floor. A café is open throughout the day, and there is free wi-fi.

  • You must be present to staff your table
  • Participants welcome to apply for shared tables if they organise sharing themselves
  • If bringing free-standing display boards or needing electrical sockets, notify as part of application
  • No scope for displaying items on walls

The Fair will be publicised via B.A.N.; the website, Facebook and Instagram; printed flyers distributed locally and at other artist book fairs; a press campaign; and the Bluecoat, Visit Liverpool, and Liverpool City Council websites.
