About
Submit a proposal for a creative, playful interactive installation inspired by face-in-the-hole cut-out figures with Midwestern themes or perspectives.
Overview
The Chippewa Valley Museum is seeking regional artists for Midwest Tintamarresque, an interactive exhibition opening January 2027. We're looking for creative, playful concepts inspired by 'face-in-the-hole' cut-out figures—reimagined through humor, storytelling, and audience participation. Proposed ideas should engage with Midwestern themes or perspectives in inventive or unexpected ways. Selected artists' work will be transformed into life-sized, interactive installations. Artists are welcome to submit both new and existing artworks.
