Overview
The Solidarity Short Film Series invites artists to explore ways that individuals and groups have come together across lines of race, ethnicity, class, religion, gender, nationality, and other demarcations of fragmentation. The series aims to intervene in mainstream, one-dimensional narratives of detachment, apathy, and severance.
Themes
Submissions may explore solidarity through queer joy, pro-Palestine activism, class consciousness, police abolitionism, contraception and abortion access, racial justice movements, cultural phenomena, fantastical ideation, whimsical creation, or any other dimension of what 'Solidarity' means.
