Submit up to 3 individual pieces of artwork for consideration in this annual juried online exhibition celebrating women artists.

O'Hanlon Center for the Arts invites submissions for Women's Work: Women Artists Making Their Mark, the 18th annual online exhibition celebrating women artists and bringing gender equity to the art world. All media welcome except video, including photography, fiber, sculpture, and digital work. The art must be created by a person who identifies as female, but does not need to reference women or women's issues.

  • Submission deadline: Monday, August 3, 2026 by 11 pm Pacific Time
  • Jury results notified by email: Tuesday, August 11, 2026 by 5 pm Pacific Time
  • Zoom roundtable with jurors: Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 4 pm Pacific Time
  • Online show dates: August 17 - October 31, 2026
  • Open to all artists identifying as female, ages 16 and older
  • International artists welcome
  • Work must not have been previously shown at O'Hanlon Gallery in-house or online
  • Up to 3 individual pieces of artwork per artist
  • All media welcome except video (photography, fiber, sculpture, digital, painting, abstract, expressionistic, exploratory, and/or experimental encouraged)
  • Diptychs and triptychs count as 1 piece and must be submitted as one image
  • Work does not need to be for sale
  • File type: JPEG or JPG only
  • File dimensions: 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side
  • File size: Under 5 MB
  • Color profile: sRGB
  • Non-Members: $30

Donna Seager has juried this show since it started 18 years ago and is now owner of Donna Seager Fine Arts & Artists' Books. Irene Bee Kain is a curator and artist who has worked with the San Francisco Women Artists Gallery and the Art of the African Diaspora. Both jurors will receive the same maximum number of works to select, and all works independently selected by each juror will be included in the exhibition.
