"Novum Artis - The New Artistic" Magazine Issue 016

Overview

Novum Artis is a bi-monthly boutique-quality magazine dedicated to exposing new and emerging artists worldwide. Each issue is distributed electronically and in print-on-demand to over 10,000 gallery owners, curators, interior designers, and art decisionmakers. The magazine is published without advertising—your art is the centerpiece.

What You'll Receive

Selected artists receive a two-page gatefold presentation featuring their headshot, biography, artist statement, and up to 2 artworks in full color. Four artists will have work selected for the cover pages, plus one to four artists designated as Artist Of Merit receive a four-page expanded section. All artwork and contact information are also displayed in the Novum Artis online 3D virtual gallery for no additional fee.

Eligibility

Open to any artist, professional or amateur, worldwide. You may submit artworks in any medium that can be clearly photographed. Artwork created within the last 5 years is preferred. All work must be original and created without instructor supervision; you must own all rights.

What to Submit

Submit 1 to 10 artworks. For each, provide: title, medium, technique(s), year of creation, dimensions, optional description, and sale price (if applicable). We do not take any commission on sales. Include your full name, city/country, email, phone, social media links, website (optional), biography, headshot photo, and artist statement (optional).

Media & Format

Any size images accepted, but high-resolution print quality is preferred. If selected, artwork must be suitable for print (maximum 2400×3000 at 300dpi); if not, you may be asked to provide a higher resolution file. Photos should show only the artwork itself—no frames, easels, or pedestals (except sculpture pedestals may be shown).

Fees

Submission is completely free. There is no cost to apply. If your artwork is selected for publication in the next issue, you will be asked to pay a $100 inclusion fee to cover production and distribution costs.

Restrictions

All artwork must be your original work and created without instructor supervision. You must own the rights to your artwork. We do not accept work that contains violence, hatred directed toward any group, pornography, or offensive content. Any entry found to be a copy or derivative of copyrighted work will result in a ban from future calls.
