Overview
The Arts Council of Wayne County is accepting submissions for the 47th Annual National Juried Art Show in Goldsboro, North Carolina. This is a juried exhibition with monetary prizes seeking to showcase the work of artists across the nation. Selected pieces will be exhibited at 139 W. Walnut St. in Goldsboro, NC.

Key Dates
- August 21, 2026: Submission deadline
- August 26, 2026: Notifications to artists

- October 2, 2026, 6–8 PM: Opening reception, grand prize winners announced
- October 2–30, 2026: Exhibition open to the public
- October 31–November 5, 2026: Art pick-up and mail out
Eligibility
Open to all artists in the United States aged 18 years and older. Works must be original, not previously shown in this annual show, and executed within the last two years. All work must be for sale.
Size & Format Requirements
Any piece must not exceed 48 inches in any direction. Entries must be transportable by not more than two people and weigh no more than 100 lbs. Two-dimensional entries must be professionally framed and/or securely wired for hanging; if subject to damage, frame under Plexiglas or glass. No clip mounting or saw-tooth hangers accepted. Three-dimensional work must sit solidly on a flat surface or be properly wired for hanging.
Submission & Fees
Initial entries will be judged digitally through callforentry.org. Submit up to 4 works (1–4 images). Entry fee is $40 (non-refundable). 60–70 selected pieces will be exhibited.

Shipping & Commission
The artist is responsible for the cost of shipping to and from the Arts Council of Wayne County and for shipping insurance. The Arts Council will return shipped works in original packaging. All shipped artwork must include a pre-paid return shipping label. The Arts Council of Wayne County will retain a 35% commission of the sale price.
