The 42nd Annual Rose Squared Art Show takes place September 19–20, 2026, at Anderson Park in Upper Montclair, New Jersey. This juried outdoor fair showcases fine art and craft with rolling jury acceptance until the 130 artist limit is reached. The event features 15,000–18,000+ estimated patrons, 24-hour security, professional onsite staff, and extensive marketing support.

  • December 1, 2025: Application opens ($35 early decision jury fee)
  • January 31, 2026: First round deadline (jewelry usually fills at this round)
  • February 1, 2026 until full: Jury fee $45
  • February 5, 2026: Early decision jury results emailed
  • March 15, 2026: Early decision reduced booth fee deadline
  • April 20, 2026: Regular application deadline
  • April 23, 2026: Jury results emailed
  • June 1, 2026: Regular booth payment deadline
  • September 18, 2026 (Friday): Setup 10am–6pm
  • September 19, 2026 (Saturday): Setup 6:30am–8:30am; show 10am–5pm
  • September 20, 2026 (Sunday): Show 10am–4pm (closing early in honor of Yom Kippur)

Rolling jury process with blind evaluation by three art professionals. Artists assigned a number and judged only on digital images (4 art images + 1 booth image), not identity. Artistic excellence and show balance are selection criteria. Jewelry applicants are automatically waitlisted if accepted; you must be juried into the jewelry category to sell any jewelry.

  • Regular (2/1/2026 until full): $45 per medium jury fee

  • Multiple applications allowed if work spans different media categories; apply separately for jewelry

Setup and teardown on Friday and Sunday with park parking behind booth. Ample storage behind booth, permanent onsite bathrooms with cleaning staff, gorgeous grass setting, and free artist parking. Very limited tent rentals available—contact Rose Squared for details.

Certificate of insurance naming Rose Squared Art Shows/Art-Linx LLC as additionally insured is required; due 45 days before the show. Rose Squared has negotiated discounts with ACT insurance (save $25 on yearly ACT Pro Policy with code rosesquared25; $5 off single show ACT Go with code rosesquared5). Artists are responsible for proper insurance and protection of work and booth; Rose Squared is not responsible for damage due to weather, accidents, or unrelated incidents.

No rain dates. No refunds are issued unless Rose Squared cancels the show with ample advance notice. If a show is canceled after logistical and advertising arrangements are made, refunds will not be issued under the rain-or-shine policy or due to any forces of nature (hurricanes, tornados, floods, earthquakes, pandemics, etc.).
