About
Women artists are invited to submit up to 2 artworks addressing women's image in art, for jurying by an invited panel of women.
Overview
Muses and Members celebrates women artists answering a century of male-defined imagery of women. Archival works by Salmagundi members from the era of exclusion (the club did not allow women until much later) are juxtaposed with new juried works by contemporary women artists addressing the same subjects. An invited jury of women will curate and select works.

Eligibility
Open only to women artists. You must be a member of Salmagundi Club or Pen + Brush, or enter as a non-member. Only work not previously shown at Salmagundi will be accepted.
Media & Size
Up to 2 artworks per artist. Outside horizontal or vertical dimensions of most accepted works may not exceed 30". Sculptures should be no more than 48" high and no more than 50 lbs. All works must be professionally framed with wire for hanging (or professionally presentable and mounted for non-frame media).

- Non-Member: $60 for 1 work, $75 for 2

Sales & Commission
The club retains 30% of all sales; 70% goes to the artist. Works marked "NFS" (not for sale) will not be listed on the website during the exhibition.
Shipping & Delivery
You may deliver work in-person during receiving days (August 27–30, 10AM–5PM) or ship it. If shipping, include a prepaid return label. The club does not accept responsibility for loss, fire, burglary, or damage. Works must be removed immediately after the exhibition (October 2–6). Uncollected works incur a $50 monthly fee after 30 days.
