About
Submit one quilt (or up to five images for additional consideration) for juried exhibition.
Overview
Each year, View Arts Center presents "Quilts Unlimited," an exhibition open to all artists working in the fiber-based quilting medium. View is an Arts Center based in the Adirondack Region of New York State.

Eligibility
- Bed & Wall Quilts require stitching to go through all three layers of a quilt; Art Quilts require stitching to go through three layers of the quilt.
- Kit quilts and hand-tied quilts are not eligible.
- All entries require attribution given to the pattern designer if applicable.
- Work must be personal execution created within the past 4 years.
- Artwork previously shown at View is not eligible.
Category Definitions
- Bed Quilt: Design to be used as a bed quilt, measuring at least 61"×61".
- Wall Quilt: Smaller than a bed quilt and designed to be hung on the wall, measuring 60"×60" or less.
- Art Quilt: Original design, reflecting innovative construction and design techniques, theme, subject matter, and/or materials. Quilt materials and techniques must be primarily fabric.
Fees
- Non-Member: $35 for one work submission
- Member: $30 for one work submission
- Additional images: $10 per image (up to 5 total images maximum)
- Entry fee is non-refundable

Delivery & Preparation
- Sew a 4" sleeve on the upper back of the quilt, leaving a 1" space between the side edge of the sleeve and the outer edge of the quilt.
- Sew a cloth label with the quilter's name and quilt title to the back, lower left-hand corner of the quilt.
- Attach a Muslin Cover showing the assigned number and a pinned piece covering your name and quilt title for judging.
- Label all detail photos "Detail Title."
Terms of Entry
- All work must be for sale or valued for insurance purposes.
- View retains a 35% commission on all entries sold.
- Works will be insured by View for the duration of the exhibition.
- Work must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition.
- View reserves the right to utilize all images submitted in promotion of the exhibition and for general promotion of View.
- View may rescind the right to hang any work submitted.
