Elemental Rhythms

Overview

Art Studio Hamptons Gallery invites artists to submit work for Elemental Rhythms, an open exhibition exploring the beauty, power and movement of the natural world. Whether representational or abstract, the exhibition celebrates the ever-changing landscapes, seasons, and ecosystems that shape our lives, seeking works that capture the energy, harmony, and enduring spirit of the natural world.

• Entry Deadline: Friday, July 17, 2026

• Artwork Pick-up: Monday, September 14, 2026, 3–8pm

Eligibility

Open to all national and international artists. Accepted mediums include oils, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, oil pastel, encaustic, colored pencil, silverpoint, graphite, pen and ink, digital art, photography, scratchboard, charcoal, sculpture and mixed media. Gallery wrapped canvas without frame is acceptable. No size limit.

Restrictions

• No AI generated artwork.
• Artwork must be original and ready for hanging.
• All accepted artworks must be professionally framed with wire for hanging.
• Work must be for sale; NFS is not allowed.

Entry Fees

• $30 for the first work
• $10 for each additional work
• Up to 5 artworks per artist
• Entry fees are non-refundable

How to Enter

Submit high-quality JPEG images through ShowSubmit. Images should show only the artwork itself without visible matting, frames, or background distractions, oriented correctly, and at high resolution (30mb maximum file size). You may edit your entries through ShowSubmit until the submission deadline of July 17, 2026. After submission and payment, you may log back in to review, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images until the entry deadline. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.

Awards & Exhibition

All accepted artists' artwork will be exhibited at Art Studio Hamptons Gallery in Westhampton Beach, New York from August 15 – September 13, 2026. Accepted artists also have the opportunity to upload up to 10 additional approved artworks to the gallery's online portfolio, which is available to clients and used for requesting artwork for additional shows throughout the year. Submissions will be judged on creativity, originality, technique/skill, presentation, and overall quality and cohesiveness within the show.

Artwork Delivery & Removal

Accepted artwork may be hand-delivered to Art Studio Hamptons Gallery, 108 Main Street #2, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978 on Monday, August 10, 2026 between 3–8pm. Shipped works must be sent in Air Float boxes with the exhibition name on the outside; works not in Air Float boxes will not be opened and exhibited. All accepted artwork must remain on exhibit for the duration of the show, including sold items. Works must be removed immediately after the exhibition. Hand-delivered items are retrieved Monday, September 14, 2026 between 3–8pm. For shipped returns, artists must provide a pre-paid return shipping label. The gallery does not provide storage or assume responsibility for artwork not picked up.

Sales & Commission

There is a customary 50/50 split between the artist and the gallery on all sales.
