Sculpture Village members are invited to participate in demonstrations, a live studio, and/or display and sell work in a gallery at the Round Rock Summer Arts Fest.
Overview
Texas Society of Sculptors is creating a Sculpture Village at the Round Rock Summer Arts Fest, a new signature downtown arts festival in Downtown Round Rock. The Sculpture Village will feature a Live Studio for members to work on projects and interact with attendees, a demonstration area for sculptors to show their practice and explain their work, and a gallery for members to display and sell their sculptures.
Festival Dates & Times
- Friday, August 7, 2026: Noon – 9 p.m.
- Saturday, August 8, 2026: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Sunday, August 9, 2026: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Sculpture Village Components
- Live Studio: Members interact with attendees while working on new or existing projects
- Demonstrations: Showcase sculptural practices, tools, and techniques across multiple sculpture types and mediums. Minimum 20 minutes up to 45 minutes, with 1 hour minimum in Live Studio after to answer questions
- Gallery: 10' x 20' tent with tables for display and sale of jury-selected members' sculptures. Multiple pieces can be displayed depending on space available
Demonstrations & Stipends
TSOS will pay a $100 stipend for each demonstration. Artists can sign up for multiple demonstrations and will receive a stipend for each. Demonstrations begin an hour after the show opens and end an hour before closing.
Gallery Display Requirements
Sculptures need to sit on stands (artist-provided) or tables, as pedestals can be precarious. Priority for display will be given to those who volunteer to help with the event, demonstrators, and those who participate in the live studio.

Current members of Texas Society of Sculptors. Membership can be obtained at TSOS.org.
