Southern California photographers are invited to apply for a 1-2 week residency documenting Palm Springs boutique hotels and their relationship to architecture, place, and community.
Overview
This juried residency invites Southern California photographers to document and interpret Palm Springs' celebrated small boutique hotels through their own artistic lens. Selected photographers will live and work on-site, moving between resorts and perspectives, to explore the relationship between architecture, place, and community.
Residency Sessions
- Fall 2026 Session One: November 8–21, 2026
- Fall 2026 Session Two: December 6–19, 2026
- Winter 2027 Session Three: January 18–30, 2027
Eligibility
- Regional eligibility: Southern California photographers
- Styles include architectural, documentary, historical, fine art, experimental, multimedia, hybrid, and AI-assisted visual practices
Submission Requirements
- Submission limit: 1 photographer per application

- Weekly stipend of $250 for living expenses
