General InformationThe City of Los Altos Parks, Art, & Cultural Commission invites artists of all backgrounds and disciplines to submit work for an upcoming exhibition exploring the theme "Pistache Red." Drawn from the distinctive, saturated red as seen in the fall foliage of Los Altos' Pistache trees, this theme celebrates color and invites artists to dive deeply and explore the nuances of Pistache Red. Feel free to include the emotional, sensory, and beyond, while exploring the visual impact of this striking hue. Artists are encouraged to interpret Pistache Red in ways that are literal, abstract, or conceptual.
Application RequirementsPlease submit a photo of your work along with an artist statement.Selected art pieces must be available to be displayed at the Los Altos Community Center from September - December 2026.
Eligibility CriteriaArtists of all backgrounds and disciplines are eligible to apply.All media are welcome. Artwork must be wired and ready to hang.
