Kaaysá is an open, year-round residency program for artists, writers, and other creators in the Atlantic Forest by the sea in Brazil. Artists choose their own residency dates and duration (1–6 months minimum, 6 months maximum) and pursue self-directed research, projects, writing, painting, recording, or other creative work. The residency has hosted over 500 multidisciplinary artists from around the world.

Kaaysá occupies 5,000 square meters between the Atlantic Forest and ocean, 160 km from São Paulo. The site accommodates up to 25 creators simultaneously and is 10 minutes' walk from regional waterfalls and 15 minutes' walk to Boiçucanga beach and town center.

All residents have access to a big common studio, wood machinery, kiln, and sound recording studio with various musical instruments. Free internet, bicycles, and assistance from operational staff (Tony, a musician and luthier). Kaaysá provides counseling, facilitation, and an art library for research, and can help connect residents with local artists, curators, and cultural organizations.

Boiçucanga is a preservation area historically inhabited by the Tupinambá and Tupiniquim Indigenous peoples and is home to the Caiçara fishing communities. Kaaysá can organize visits to the Guarani Indigenous community (30 minutes away), where 120 families maintain traditional culture, agriculture, hunting skills, and body-painting traditions.

Kaaysá encourages all residents to offer a workshop and exhibit their work to children and students from regional public schools who visit the residency.
