Call for Artists,The College of New Jersey Campus Sculpture Installation Quad Project — Ewing, NJ Deadline: December 16 On behalf of The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), the New Jersey State Council on the Arts is soliciting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from prospective artists to design, fabricate, and install artwork on Forcina/West quad on the TCNJ campus in Ewing, NJ. Call to Artists, Traffic Box Art Wrap Project — Hyattsville, MD Deadline: November 18 On behalf of the Town of Berwyn Heights, the Hyattsville Community Development Corporation announces a Call for Artists’ designs to transform select traffic signal and utility cabinets in Berwyn Heights into public artworks. Traffic signal cabinets – the stainless-steel structures located at every signalized intersection – are vulnerable to graffiti and vandalism. This project will utilize a public art application to address community blight and enhance the visual landscape. Artist designs will be printed on vinyl and wrapped around state-maintained signal box cabinets in the Town of Berwyn Heights.
