Overview
North Van Arts invites visual artists working in small 3D mediums, including ceramics and mixed media, to apply for the Art in the Community Program. Successful candidates will receive an 8-12 week solo or paired exhibition opportunity in public gallery spaces during 2027.

Eligibility
- Emerging and professional artists encouraged
- Must reside in Metro Vancouver
- Minimum 8 artworks available at time of application
- North Van Arts especially encourages applications from Indigenous Peoples, people of colour, 2SLGBTQIA+ community, people with disabilities, and those experiencing discrimination
3D artwork requirements
- Submit 3D works in ceramics, mixed media, or other small 3D mediums
- Artwork must fit in display cases (35.5" x 35.5" each, door width 14.5")
- Minimum 10 artworks to exhibit (exact number depends on sizing)
- Label artwork with artist's name and title on back or bottom
- Include images of framed work if applicable
Application materials
- Exhibition theme/concept description (up to 600 words)
- Artist's statement and biography (no more than 400 words each)
- Artwork inventory list with title, date, medium, size (inches), and price
- Up to 16 high-resolution images of proposed artworks
