About
Overview
The Anonymous Art Show is North Van Arts' annual fundraising event featuring hundreds of unique 8″ x 8″ artworks sold for $120 each. Artists remain anonymous until after their work sells; participants sign only the back of the canvas. Accepted artworks are only slightly juried—if a submission meets requirements, it will be included in the exhibition.
Submission Requirements
- 8″ x 8″ canvas or wood panel with depth of 1.5″ or more
- Any 2D medium accepted
- No 3D elements extending more than 2″ in front or beyond the 8″ x 8″ border
- Name on back only (not front or side)
- Maximum 1 application per artist; 1–3 artworks per application
- No eyelets or wire on back; do not post about artwork on social media before or during the show

- Saturday & Sunday, December 12–13: Remaining artworks on sale for $60 each
Sales & Remuneration
All accepted artworks sell for $120 before December 12, then $60 thereafter. North Van Arts retains 50% of final sale price; artists receive 50% as e-transfer or may donate their portion to North Van Arts. Unsold artworks must be picked up by the artist by the end of the event.
