Overview
Arte Studio Ginestrelle offers creative and writing residencies in Assisi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for frescoes by Giotto and Cimabue. The studio is located in the historic center near the Cathedral of San Rufino and offers opportunities to experience Assisi's artistic and historical sites, the natural environment of Mt. Subasio, and the nearby olive grove countryside.
Residency Dates
- October 5–14, 2026 (recommended for colleagues, partners, or individual writers/artists)
- November 18–December 2, 2026 (recommended for colleagues, partners, or individual writers/artists)
- December 3–31 or December 9–31, 2026 (ideal for colleagues, partners, and individual artists/writers)
Eligibility
Open to artists and writers at any stage of career. Selection focuses on the project proposal to be developed during the stay.
Awards & Benefits
Selected artists and writers are invited to exhibit in the International Collective Exhibition of Literary, Visual and Performing Arts and have their work published in the annual art catalogue. The Assisi International Contemporary Art Exhibition 2026 (XVII edition) will be shown during the year.
