Art Behind Bars presents the work of four artists—Michael Vandergrift, Bryan Witham, Luis Lopez, and Josue Benitez—who create art during their incarceration at the United States Penitentiary in Terre Haute, Indiana. Their work offers a rare and deeply human perspective on life behind bars, exploring creativity, introspection, accountability, and transformation.

  • September 10 – October 19, 2026
  • Opening Reception: Thursday, September 10, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
