Overview
The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County invites current CAA member artists to submit up to three original works for consideration in the Foster Gallery Outreach Special Exhibition at Emerald Coast Theatre Company. This themed exhibition explores and celebrates women's journeys of self-discovery, independence, resilience, and hope.
Exhibition Theme
"She Persists: Journeys of Self-Discovery and Unwavering Spirit" highlights the personal paths of women as they navigate identity, independence, resilience, and hope, inspired by stories from Carole King's artistic ascent, Laura Wingfield's quiet strength, and Annie's unstoppable optimism.

- Call to artists: June 27 - August 15, 2025
- Artist notification: August 19, 2025
- Art Delivery to ECTC: September 9, 2025, 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Exhibit opens: September 12, 2025
- Exhibit ends: January 30, 2026
- Mandatory Art Pick up: January 30, 2026, 10:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Eligibility
Must be a current member of the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (membership not required to be local). Artists are not required to work at the host location.
Submission Requirements
Submit an application online via Submittable with up to three original works. Study the criteria prior to submission.
Exhibition Location
Emerald Coast Theatre Company, 560 Grand Blvd., Ste 200 Upstairs, Miramar Beach, FL 32550. The exhibition will be displayed in the ECTC lobby from September 12, 2025 through January 30, 2026.
About the Foster Gallery
Established by the CAA in 2016 and named in honor of CAA founder Susan Foster, the Foster Gallery has been transformed into a Visual Arts Outreach Program that brings art into the heart of the community, allowing artists to display and sell their work in multiple locations throughout Walton County.
