Overview
Platform Dalí invites artists of any nationality and discipline to apply for residencies at partner scientific institutions in Barcelona. The program explores the theme 'What is real?' through close collaboration between artists and researchers.

- ICFO – the Institute of Photonic Sciences
- Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM-CSIC)
- Institute for High Energy Physics (IFAE)
- Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB), including the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) and European Molecular Biology (EMBL) Barcelona
Program Structure
- Introductory Visit (up to 3 days)
- On-site Residency (up to 45 days): Engagement with researchers through conversations, laboratory visits, presentations and daily institutional participation
- Research Development and Artistic Production (approximately 10 months): Remote dialogue with researchers and curatorial guidance from Platform Dalí

Support
- Artist fee of 7,500 EUR
- Production budget up to 25,000 EUR
- Curatorial support
- Access to facilities, expertise and research communities of host institution
- For non-Barcelona-based artists: travel, accommodation, subsistence and travel insurance costs covered for introductory visit and on-site residency
Collectives
For artist collectives, the artist fee, production budget and covered expenses should be shared among members. A maximum of two members may participate in the introductory visit and on-site residency.
