The exhibition welcomes landscapes, wildlife, plants, weather, water, bodies, and how we live with, alter, and imagine nature. Observation and invention are welcome, especially when they uncover what people walk past.
All styles and mediums are welcome, from traditional landscapes and wildlife art to abstraction, surrealism, conceptual work, and experimentation. Your work might begin with something animalistic, a mountain, a backyard, a storm, or a fossil. Nature can be majestic or microscopic, peaceful or vicious, funny, sacred, invasive, decaying, returning, or indifferent. Look beyond the postcard and show us the odd corner, contradiction, or living force that keeps pulling you back.
The exhibition will be held at The Lab on Santa Fe, a central space in Denver's Art District on Santa Fe, known for strong First Friday visibility and a solid reputation for sales and collector interest.
