Overview

Cuyahoga Arts & Culture invites nonprofit organizations producing, presenting, or creating arts and cultural programs in Cuyahoga County to apply for 2027 Project Support funding. Grants support projects with a core arts and culture purpose occurring between January 1 and December 31, 2027.

Eligibility

• Open to 501(c)(3) organizations with or without a core mission of arts and culture
• Project must have a core arts and culture purpose and public programming component
• Based in or serving Cuyahoga County, Ohio
• First-time applicants must apply for Project Support

Grant Amounts

Grants may range from $1,000 to $7,500. A 1:1 match is required, with 50% of matching funds allowed as in-kind income.

• Application Due: Thursday, June 25, 2026 by 4:30 pm ET
• Project Period: January 1 - December 31, 2027

Application Requirements

The application must be completed through the GOapply system and includes questions about organizational overview, eligibility, project basics and narratives, project budget, support materials, and a statement of assurances.

Project Definition

A project is a specific, connected set of activities with a beginning and an end, explicit goals, and a predetermined cost that does not equal the organization's total annual budget. Projects may be one-time events or recurring activities.

Additional Information

Organizations may receive either a Project Support grant OR a General Operating Support grant but not both during each grant year. General Operating Support is currently in a two-year commitment and will not accept applications in 2026.
