Overview
Hamptons Juried is a premier art exhibition showcasing works by East End artists. The show runs October 30 – November 28, 2026 at ARC Fine Art Gallery in Amagansett, NY. Artists may submit up to three pieces for consideration, with the final exhibition featuring a maximum of one piece per artist for those selected. All exhibited pieces are available for purchase.

Exhibition Theme
The Energy of Light serves as the defining theme. Long revered by generations of creatives for its profound emotive force, the unique coastal light of the East End acts as both a sanctuary and a catalyst for artistic expression. Artists are invited to submit original works that vividly capture this legendary light, interpreting its fluid movement, atmospheric shifts, and pure, kinetic energy.
Jury Criteria
- Overall strength of work, including composition, visual impact and interpretation of exhibition theme
- Originality – Does the work feel distinctive, fresh, personal, or inventive?
- Technical skill – Quality of execution within the chosen medium
- Conceptual strength – Clarity and depth of idea
- Emotional or visual impact – Does the work hold attention and create a strong response?
- Use of medium – How well the artist uses the chosen materials or process
- Cohesion between idea and execution – Does the finished piece successfully realize the artist's intention?
- Fit with the exhibition – How well the work contributes to the strength and identity of the East End exhibition
Awards
- Best in Show – Solo Show at ARC Fine Art Gallery, East Hampton, NY – Spring 2027. The strongest overall work based on excellence, originality, execution, and impact.
- Juror's Choice Award – $1,000. A work selected by the jury recognizing the piece that perfectly captures the 'Energy of Light', honoring how illumination transforms the East End.
- People's Choice Award – Selected and awarded by all attendees who attend the show throughout its run (Oct 30th-Nov 28th)
