About

Overview

The Koninklijke Piet Stautkring has organized this art competition since 2001 in collaboration with the municipality of Beveren. Since 2011, the prize has been held biennially, alternating between painting and small sculpture. In 2026, the 13th edition takes place, with painting as the featured discipline. A competent independent jury selects the laureates and curates an exhibition featuring the most valuable submissions.

Exhibition

Selected works (including non-prize winners) will be exhibited at Kasteel Cortewalle, Beveren-Kruibeke-Zwijndrecht. Laureates are offered an exhibition at the same venue in the year following the competition.
