A 6-hour online training workshop presented by Philippe Beaulieu, CPA, covering tax rules and professional organization for self-employed artists and cultural workers. Participants will learn how to structure their activities, distinguish between self-employment and salaried work, understand tax concepts related to income and expenses, and manage GST/QST obligations.

Training delivered live on Zoom with no recordings or replays. Participant camera presence required throughout. Required equipment: computer with camera, headphones with microphone (if in a noisy environment), and high-speed internet connection.

Participants will be better equipped to compare legal organization forms, distinguish self-employed from salaried status, identify reportable income and deductible expenses, organize revenue and expense tracking, differentiate tax deductions from tax credits, recognize tax measures applicable to artistic income, identify tax deadlines, and understand GST/QST registration requirements and responsibilities.

Participants may book one-hour individual consultations with Philippe Beaulieu to address questions specific to their tax and professional situation. Six sessions available at an additional cost of 26 CAD each, by registration form.
