Founded over 100 years ago by Samuel Fleisher, its mission is to make art accessible to everyone, regardless of economic means, background, or artistic experience.
At this time, Fleisher is not actively recruiting faculty or teaching artists. However, they welcome hearing from practicing artists and arts educators interested in running classes or workshops that share their creative process and techniques with adults or children.
The current faculty pay rate is $35/hr for in-class teaching with limited additional compensation for class preparations, dependent on the program type.
