Presentation of seven artistic projects and documentation from the stadt.raum.experimente 2024/25 series, featuring performances, multimedia, photographic, and participatory works that were realized across Düsseldorf from July 2024. The works address urban space and questions of participation, care, mobility, sustainability, and artificial intelligence.

  • Friday, April 4 to Sunday, April 6, 2025, 11 am to 6 pm
  • April 4 (opening day): 11 am to 9 pm
  • Opening reception at 7 pm with discussion led by art historian Miriam Bettin and participating artists

The exhibition includes works by Funda Zeynep Aygüler (Microbial Cityscape), Fangchao Bi (Turtle Robot project), Daniela Georgieva (Dance performance destination_paradise / next stop Düsseldorf), Alwin Lay (Membran photography installations), Make Like a Tree & VJkET (audiovisual performance Dark night of the soul), Rebecca J. Squires (The Grand Tour research and exhibition project), and Lisa Watts & Dad (interactive minigolf installation My Crazy Family Golf).

The Stadt.raum.experimente series was launched by Kunstkommission Düsseldorf in 2022. The 2024/2025 funding period marks the second iteration of the series in the urban space, featuring experimental and temporary performances and multimedia, virtual, or participatory projects.
