Apply with images of your artwork for consideration in one of 15+ categories (ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, metal works, painting/drawing, photography, printmaking, wood, two/three-dimensional mixed media, consumables, authors, emerging artist, or community/non-profit) to exhibit in the 60th annual Red Wing Arts Fall Festival.

Celebrating its 60th year, the Red Wing Arts Fall Festival showcases fine art and craft during peak fall color, attracting over 20,000 visitors. The festival features 125+ artist booths with live music, entertainment, and food trucks in downtown Red Wing and Central Park.

  • Friday, October 9: 5–9 pm setup
  • Saturday, October 10: 6–9 am setup, 10 am–5 pm festival hours
  • Sunday, October 11: 10 am–4 pm festival hours, 4–7 pm load out
  • January 26, 2026: Online application available
  • July 1, 2026: Applications due by 11:59 pm CST
  • July 22, 2026: First-round invites and waitlist notices via email; subsequent invites August 1–September 30
  • July 31, 2026: Deadline to accept invitation and purchase booth
  • August 16, 2026: Cancelation deadline for 50% refund (less $25 admin fee)
  • After August 17, 2026: No refunds

Open to all types of quality, unique, professionally presented, and shoppable artwork made by the applicant, including: Ceramics, Consumables (Bath, Body & Candles), Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metal Works, Two-Dimensional Mixed Media, Three-Dimensional Mixed Media, Painting/Drawing, Photography, Printmaking, Wood, Authors (literary works combining text and art, priority given to >50% visual content), Emerging Artist (for artists beginning their careers; limited spaces), and Community & Non-Profit (limited spaces). No machine-made, mass-produced, or commercial cast work permitted in most categories.

Three awards will be given via on-site judging: 1 Larry Veeder Best of Show winner receives a cash prize, automatic entry, booth fee exemption, and artwork featured in festival marketing the following year. Second Place and Third Place each receive a cash prize, automatic entry, and application fee exemption the following year. A panel of three to five jurors (arts professionals and artists) will score submissions anonymously on a scale of one to five.

  • Overnight security Friday and Saturday nights

Approximately 125 artist spaces are available. Submitted images must be anonymous with no identifying markings (signatures, company names, artist photos). Jurors individually score each entry; highest composite scores by category are invited to exhibit or placed on a waitlist. Category balancing and application volume per medium are considered.

A waitlist of alternatives by category will be developed based on jury scores. Artists will be notified of waitlist status via email through their Zapplication account.
