Pendleton Spring Jubilee 50th Annual - April 2027

Overview

The Historic Pendleton Spring Jubilee is an award-winning juried arts and crafts festival located in historic Pendleton, South Carolina, just beyond the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Come celebrate the Upstate's oldest juried arts and crafts festival at its 50th anniversary. The festival provides an opportunity for professional artists and handcrafters to exhibit in a beautiful and family-oriented environment with excellent entertainment and food vendors.

• Last day to request refund: February 19, 2027 (less $40 processing fee)
• Set up: Friday, April 2, 2027, 3:00 pm–8:00 pm (or Saturday, April 3, 2027, by 8 am with special permission only)
• Festival: Saturday, April 3 and Sunday, April 4, 2027

Location & Facilities

Exhibits are set up on the Pendleton Village Green, 137 Exchange Street, Downtown Pendleton, South Carolina, in designated 10'x10' outdoor booth spaces on pavement. Overnight security is provided Friday, April 2, 8 pm to Saturday, April 3, 6 am, and Saturday, April 3, 8 pm to Sunday, April 4, 8 am. Exhibitors must bring their own tent and display equipment; side dividers are not used.

Eligibility & Restrictions

Open to professional artists and handcrafters. Work must be in keeping with the family-oriented atmosphere. Jurors will be trained to identify AI images; AI works are not permitted and applicants will be immediately disqualified if AI use is detected.

Application Requirements

Submit via ZAPP (the online digital application system). You must include 4 images of your work with no person, sign, or business name/logo visible, and 1 image of your booth display with no person, sign, or business name/logo visible. Images should represent your entire price range and at least 90% of your actual booth work; the festival will compare submitted images to displayed work to maintain quality. If applying in multiple categories, submit 4 images for each category and complete a separate application with a separate ZAPP profile and $25 jury fee for each additional category.

Fees

• Non-refundable jury fee: $25.00 per application
• Booth fee (if accepted): $175.00, due by January 31, 2027
• No commissions charged by festival organizers on sales

Jury & Notifications

A panel of qualified art professionals will review submitted images. Acceptance is determined by score and category to assure a balanced show. A minimum score-based waiting list is maintained in each category with cancellations filled from the waiting list; date of application serves as a tiebreaker. You will be notified by January 15, 2027 if accepted, on the waiting list, or not qualifying.

Festival Details

• Hours: 10 am–6 pm Saturday, April 3; Noon–5 pm Sunday, April 4
• No more than 85 artisans with limited numbers per category
• Complimentary services: volunteers to unload/load if needed, coffee/water/snacks throughout the show, continental breakfast Sunday, booth sitters, free parking
• Live entertainment and food vendors throughout the event

Artist Responsibilities

All sales are handled by the exhibitor; participants are responsible for collecting, reporting, and remitting South Carolina sales tax to SCDOR. Exhibitors must ensure all booth spaces have adequate weights (no exceptions) and that booths are attractive from all sides.
