La Maldita Estampa is an artist-founded residency in Barcelona focused on traditional printmaking techniques. The program provides international artists, curators, and cultural managers with a fully equipped workshop (90+ m²) and gallery (30+ m²) space to develop their projects.

Access to 120 m² of shared facilities including a production workshop with specialized equipment for direct techniques (burin, drypoint, etching, etc.), relief printing (linocut, woodcut), and indirect techniques (lithography, aquatint, photoetching, cyanotype, and others). Permanent support and guidance provided throughout residency.

Accommodation is not provided, but the organization helps residents find comfortable housing through its network of local artists and friends at economical rates.

350 euros per week. Artists must secure their own funding. The organization will provide letters of invitation for grant applications from institutions in applicants' home countries.

Submit a portfolio with: brief project explanation (maximum 30 lines and 5 recent photographs in PDF format), proposed timeline with arrival and departure dates, and specification of techniques involved in your creative process.
