Museums of History NSW is inviting applications from cultural practitioners, creatives and organisations to participate in its inaugural creative residency program. The Vaucluse House Creative and Cultural Residency Program offers fully subsidised access to four sunny studio spaces within a shared cottage at the former caretaker's cottage for 12 months, commencing November 2026.

This multidisciplinary non-residential program is situated on Birrabirragal and Gadigal Country in a beautiful harbourside setting. The program offers time, space, connection and inspiration to develop and connect audiences with creative work.

Open to all NSW-based creative practitioners at any stage of their career. Demonstration of a proposed creative connection to Vaucluse House, the surrounding landscape and/or the work of Museums of History NSW is desirable but not mandatory.
