Jack Nokes Outstanding Service Award
Established to recognize significant contributions to the museum field, service to TAM, and remarkable individuals. Named in honor of Jack Nokes, TAM Executive Director (1995–2008). Jo Stewart Randel Outstanding Trustee Award
Recognizes excellence and distinguished contributions by a volunteer trustee to museums in Texas. Named in honor of Jo Stewart Randel (1915–2002). Recipient: Dr. John Gerling, for over two decades of service as trustee of the International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) in McAllen, including educational initiatives and philanthropic leadership.
TAM Texas Museum Advocacy Award
Honors outstanding efforts in championing the interests of Texas museums at the local, state, or national level. Recipient: Dr. Diane Milliken Garza, for her leadership as a Commissioner for the Texas Commission on the Arts, helping secure $7.9 million in new state funding for arts organizations across Texas.
