About
Overview
Metro Art Studios of Bridgeport, CT invites area artists to submit work to its annual Art Squared fundraising exhibit. All wall-hung fine art media are welcome, including painting, printmaking, photography, textiles, and mixed media. The exhibit opens during the city-wide Bridgeport Art Trail with close to 2,000 visitors. Proceeds from sales support Metro Art Studios' programming and events for artists and the community.

Eligibility
All artists aged 18 years and older may apply. Entries must be original, entirely the work of the entrant, and made without instructor supervision. Copies of existing artworks or those based on copyrighted artworks by others are not eligible. Accepted work must be dropped off in person at Metro Art Studios on October 21 from 1-3 PM.
Media & Size Requirements
All wall-hung fine art media are welcome. Artwork must be square and between 10" x 10" and 14" x 14", including frame. Work must be delivered ready to hang on one nail.
How to Enter
Artists must enter online at callforentry.org. There is no entry fee. Each artist can submit up to 3 original works for consideration. Only one image per work may be submitted, and images must include the frame if applicable. Metro Art Studios reserves the right to refuse a work which has been significantly misrepresented by its entry.
Sales & Commission
Artwork will be priced at $100, $200, or $300 each, with each artist choosing the price. A commission of 50% will be retained by Metro Art Studios on all sales. Artists will be paid for works sold within 30 days after the closing date of the exhibition.
