The American Society of Marine Artists (ASMA) invites artists to submit original artworks for the Second International Online Marine Art Exhibition. Participating organizations include ASMA, RSMA (UK), CSMA (Canada), MAA (Australia), and POM (France).

  • Submissions Open: Monday, June 15, 2026
  • Entry Deadline: Tuesday, September 15, 2026
  • Acceptance Notification: By Monday, November 2, 2026
  • Exhibition Open: Tuesday, December 1, 2026
  • Exhibition Close: Saturday, January 1, 2028

Artists must be a member of one of the Participating Organizations listed above. Non-members may join ASMA and apply as a member.

Original artwork only in traditional media. No prints or digital art accepted. Submit up to 5 artworks per artist. Images must be high-quality JPEG files (30MB maximum), properly cropped with artwork only visible, and correctly oriented.

  • $35 for the first work
  • $10 for each additional work, up to 5 total
  • Entry fees are non-refundable
  • $500 USD for Best in Show Overall
  • $500 USD for Best ASMA
  • $500 USD for Best RSMA
  • $500 USD for Best CSMA
  • $500 USD for Best MAA
  • $500 USD for Best POM

Each Participating Organization will jury entries from their respective members. The Fellows of the American Society of Marine Artists will jury the Overall Winner from the winners of the Participating Organizations. Submissions will be judged on creativity, originality, technique/skill, presentation, and overall quality.
