Curator Alexandra Orlova invites UK-based artists to apply for The Suspense of Opening Grandma's Mystery Casserole: Chapter One — Absurdity and Humour, a curated exhibition exploring memories connected with fear, anxiety, conspiracy, absurdity and humour.

What you get
Selected artists will participate in a curated group exhibition at STRANGE FIELD in Glasgow from 10–13 August 2026. Their work may be featured in exhibition publicity, online communications and social-media promotion. Selected artists will receive direct communication from the curator and practical information about delivery, installation and exhibition set-up.
Important requirements
Artists must be able to deliver or send selected works to Glasgow by 8 August 2026 and arrange their collection or prepaid return after the exhibition.

No artist fee, production funding, travel support or shipping reimbursement is currently offered.
